8A Electric, Inc. is a family-owned electrical contracting company founded by Juan Ochoa. The company is based in San Antonio.
Mr. Ochoa, an electrical engineer, brings 30+ years experience working in commercial, industrial, and government sectors and holds a Master Electrician license since 1982. Mr. Ochoa is often asked to serve as an electrical system troubleshooter – able to view electrical systems from design to installation. As Maintenance Manager and Safety Auditor for 15 years of the electrical wire harness manufacturing automotive division for ALCOA, he became an expert in industrial electrical systems.
8A Electric projects include all types of electrical installations from power quality analysis to large-scale, military base electrical installations. The company performs specialized construction work related to the installation, maintenance and remediation of complex electrical systems for commercial, industrial and government projects. 8A Electric is regulated by the TX Department of Licensing and Regulation (TECL: 29095).
We are active members of the AGC and AGC of Texas.
